Today I am introducing GODSPEar, my homage to the Oxford OSCar filter in Eurorack format. GODSPEar is the only filter used in these audio recordings. Detailed explanation of the module and patch examples will be in a forthcoming Demo #2. Audio recorded direct to Tascam DR-05, some additional compression and normalization used in the making of this audio.

Thanks for the build and it's probably a great module but I checked both demos and they're not the kind of demos I want to hear. Can we hear some longer notes where we can clearly hear the filter in action instead of these?

@@ArtFluids for good reason. Its digital control section is specially tailored to its CPU operation. So mine is re-designed analog control serving the original core filter topology.

@@theouterplanet It's a stereo pedal that sounds rather amazing stereo per other videos I've seen, so it's a fair question to ask why the video was uploaded with mono audio. Especially when you can see he used the pedal in stereo.

That looks like an aftermarket front panel. Who made it?
Nah it’s factory, previous owners cleaned the matte coating from the plexiglass.
@@gstormelectro Super shiny! I thought I would prefer that, but looking at this one, I think I like the matte finish better. I just ordered a new front panel from Sweet Discrete, who use the same manufacturing materials and process that Oberheim used. It wasn't cheap, but I'll have a Matrix 12 that will look like it just came out of the factory. Thanks for the info and thanks for making and sharing this video. This is an incredible synth. Mine is getting fully restored. I could have bought a new modern synth for what it's costing me, but it's worth it. The M12 is that good. Cheers!

I'm on a mission to get my Yamaha DTX E-set to send individual analog pad signals into my mixer into my DAW. The closest I got to this was via midi but the midi signal is too inconsistent. My question is...will this machine accept the midi input signal from my DTX and separate each signal to then send the analog individual outs?
humm for a real opinion in low,i wouls had the tension /volts score !!aliasing and 333 harmonical prble sample, is surely the problem with the second .so a scope test von fourrier and a frozen screen each oct 1-2-3-4 for the solina berhinger in comparaison to the real one!!
a frozen sound does the impression of a sound,even so it's just a sample,with no harmonics variation,frozen from the beguining till the end,let's imagine classicals synth done with all news sample unities(what could we thinking of them in time,and in the real instant,maybe it's a track for any answer about that exposure (idid not said comercial exposure!!maybe it help guys with low budget,and maybe not.
They should make a boutique version of this, this synth sounds amazing and is way more straightforward than a lot of the 80s hardware nightmares
I’m hoping kiwitechnics will make an upgrade cpu board like they did on the polysix.
It would be a good idea to have both sounds in mono as some people's ears are different from each other like mine ( one rear have more hearing loss than the other, etc) Also, it seems the crescendo haven't been matched with Arp having a longer attack. B sounds bit more muddy/ boomy in the lows... I'll take what I can get from it here.
